ORIGIN BIBLE · OST TRACK 2 🎵
“He Came First”
Our second OST: Genesis 3, set to music

We grew up hearing the Word, and we still live the opposite of it. Adam and Eve did the same: they broke the command and hid among the trees. But God moved first. He came looking for the ones in hiding and asked, “Where are you?” Then He made garments of skin and clothed them. This song puts Genesis 3 into the language of teenagers.

Falling isn’t the end.
Staying down is.

📖 The Scripture Behind the Song

In Genesis 3, people were the first to hide, and God was the first to come looking. The title ‘He Came First’ comes from that order.

“Yahweh God called to the man, and said to him, “Where are you?””
Genesis 3:9 (WEB)

God did not ask because He could not find Adam. The question opened a space for the one in hiding to step out and answer. And for the two who were leaving the garden, God Himself made clothes.

“Yahweh God made coats of animal skins for Adam and for his wife, and clothed them.”
Genesis 3:21 (WEB)

This is not a story that ends where people fall. It is a story of God coming first to people who have fallen. It is the scene we hope teenagers remember on the day they fail.

🏫 Using It in Class
· To open Listen first, then ask: ‘In this song, who moved first?’
· After the reading Read 3:8~10 and 3:21 side by side and compare the people who hid with the God who came.
· To close Let each person answer God with a short prayer: ‘Here I am.’

Discussion questions

· Have you ever wanted to avoid people after doing something wrong?
· If God asked you today, ‘Where are you?’, what would you want to say?
· What does the God who made garments of skin feel like to you?
